Pai released his statement in the following tweet.

Pai is concerned that Sinclair will be given control over too many broadcast stations which violates the Communication Act and he has instructed the FCC to hold a hearing with an administrative law judge in order to settle what he called "disputed issues."

Politico.com has reported the process which Sinclair faces now will be a "lengthy process" and many are viewing it as stopping the deal at this point.

Fightful Wrestling will update this story as it affect Ring of Honor as a wrestling promotion.
