FITE TV Says They Are Not In M&A Discussions With WWE Despite Reported Interest

WWE looking to make a big move?

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that "WWE has had recent interest in purchasing Fite TV to the point there are meetings upcoming regarding it." Meltzer is quick to note that WWE talks to a lot of people, and just because the two parties meet, doesn't mean a deal will get done.

Following the report, FITE TV took to social media to comment.

FITE TV is the home of multiple Independent promotions including Ring of Honor, Game Changer Wrestling, and House of Glory. The streaming service is also a partner with New Japan Pro Wrestling for certain events and All Elite Wrestling for international fans. Along with streaming a full host of wrestling events, FITE TV is also the home for MMA, kickboxing, and boxing events. RIZIN, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships, and other boxing, kickboxing, and MMA events are streamed on the website.

Fightful will provide more information as it is known.
