Freddie Prinze Jr. Compares Sami Zayn To Hollywood Icons, Believes He Is The Lead Of WWE SmackDown

Sami Zayn continues to garner praise for his role as the "Honorary Uce" on WWE SmackDown.

After months of aligning himself with The Bloodline, Sami Zayn was officially named an Honorary Uce on the September 23 episode of SmackDown when Roman Reigns presented him with a t-shirt and hug.

The pairing of Zayn with Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa has been met with rave reviews from countless members of the wrestling community, including former WWE writer and 90s movie star Freddie Prinze Jr.

During a recent episode of his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, Prinze compared Zayn to some of Hollywood's most iconic performers.

"Listen to me, it's not putting him over, I'm spitting facts. There's Marlon Brando, there's Bette Davis, and there's Sami Zayn. That's not even in the right order. That's not even the right order," Freddie began by saying.

He continued on to say that Zayn is, in his opinion, the lead of SmackDown ahead of The Tribal Chief.

"He is the lead of the show. No one will believe me when I say this, but Sami Zayn is the lead of Friday Night SmackDown. He's the Cary Grant of this movie. He's the Clark Gable of this movie. Dare I say, he's the 90s Freddie Prinze Jr of that movie," he added.

Recently, Shane Helms echoed a similar message, saying that Zayn is the top performer in the entire industry right now. To learn more about his comments, click here.
