G.O.D. Win IWGP Tag Titles At 'Honor Rising', Double Title Match Set Up For G1 Supercard

The first official match for G1 Supercard has been set in stone.

The second night of Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling's 'Honor Rising' shows have wrapped up and on night two, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa defeated EVIL and SANADA to capture the IWGP Tag Team Championships for a fifth time. Later in the night, the current ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes successfully defended their titles against 'LifeBlood' (David Finlay and Juice Robinson). The Briscoes retained and post-match, Mark and Jay issued a challenge to the Guerrillas Of Destiny for ROH and NJPW's G1 Supercard show on April 6th at Madison Square Garden.

Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa made their way to the ring and wasted no time in accepting the challenge and it was then made official that at G1 Supercard, The Briscoes and the Guerrillas Of Destiny will clash with the ROH World Tag Titles and the IWGP Tag Titles on the line in a title versus title match. Ahead of G1 Supercard, The Briscoes are defending their titles against PCO and Brody King at Ring Of Honor's 17th Anniversary Show next month.
