Hikaru Shida Beats Nyla Rose At AEW Double Or Nothing To Capture The AEW Women's World Championship

Hikaru Shida is the new AEW Women's World Champion!

In what was a very physical match at AEW Double Or Nothing, Hikaru Shida dethroned Nyla Rose to capture her first AEW Women’s Championship. The No Holds Barred match took the women all over Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida and saw both of them utilize the staging and more to illustrate the story in their very physical encounter.

Toward the end, Rose climbed to the top before Shida threw the stick at her head and met her on the top turnbuckle before Shida hit an avalanche falcon arrow for a near fall, Rose hit Shida's leg with the stick before Shida hits a sliding forearm into a sliding knee for a near fall.

Shida then nearly knocked Rose out with a kendo stick shot to the head before hitting a shining wizard for the pin and the win.
