Jake Atlas ends his group A matches on a winning note, but with no guarantee that he's advancing to the finals of the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.
Atlas defeated Tony Nese to improve his record to 2-1, keeping himself mathematically alive to advance to the finals while Nese suffered his third straight loss. All Atlas can do is hope is for Drake Maverick to defeat Kushida in the final match of group to essentially force a three-way tie for first place where the head-to-head record between Atlas, Kushida and Maverick would 1-1 against each other.

In the last tournament of the night, Jack Gallagher picked up first win by defeating Isaiah "Swerve" Scott. Gallagher played spoiler as he eliminated Scott from advancing to the tournament, meaning the winner of the upcoming match between Akira Tozawa and El Hijo Del Fantasma advances to the finals as the winner of Group B.

Below are the updated standings for each group. All wrestlers will face the other wrestlers in their respective group and after each wrestler has completed three matches, the one with the best record in each group advances to the finals.
Group A:
- Kushida: 2-0
- Jake Atlas: 2-1
- Drake Maverick: 1-1
- Tony Nese: 0-3
Group B:
- Akira Tozawa: 2-0
- El Hijo Del Fantasma: 1-1
- Isaiah “Swerve” Scott: 1-2
