The Hardy’s briefly discuss how they feel wrestling in El Paso, Texas.

In the mid 2000’s, Eddie Guerrero tragically passed away at the age of 38, and those who shared a roster with Guerrero to this day speak of missing the legendary superstar.

While speaking to KVIA ABC-7 in a new interview, The Hardys were asked about wrestling in El Paso, Texas, with Matt noting that El Paso are a traditional wrestling crowd.

“They’re just, they’re a traditional wrestling crowd, which is what we just, we yearn for more than anything else. They just want to be entertained. They want to come and enjoy pro wrestling in its greatest form. A lot of people now that the internet’s around and social media, people overthink pro wrestling and they try and analyze it too much. El Paso, they’re just here to have fun and enjoy the show. That is the best case scenario, and when they come out, they’re enthusiastic, they’re passionate, and that’s the best case scenario.”

Jeff Hardy would then note that when he’s in El Paso, he feels very close to the spirit of Eddie Guerrero.

“I always feel very close to the spirit of Eddie Guerrero when I’m out here, man. So that’s a power in itself.”

Elsewhere in another recent interview, Dominik Mysterio noted that Eddie came up with his custody storyline. You can read more about that here.
