1. What’s the best advice you’ve been given about the pro wrestling business and who gave it to you?

Some advice I found to be so true not only in pro wrestling but in everyday life was to “work hard and stay humble” and “be all you can be.” That’s what Delirious always said. I related. Another veteran told me, “Don’t get too attached.” Opposite views, but everyone has different journeys. You learn from your own experiences.

2. Why did you decide to pursue a career in pro wrestling?

I loved wrestling so much growing up and knew I wanted to train someday. My family thought it was just a phase but I stuck with it. Wrestling made me happy; lots of good memories as a kid going to live events. They were so exciting! I was fortunate to have the ROH Academy in the Philly area and I joined when I was 17. When I was 19 I went to Japan for the first time to train and wrestle and spent a lot of time training with the veterans there six days a week. Those were the most intense sessions.

3. What’s your favorite thing about Japan?

The friends I’ve made who turned into family. The work ethic there is very admirable. The country is clean and beautiful. I’m fortunate I lived there. It’s a special place and I can’t wait to go back. I’m grateful to Pro Wrestling Diana for giving me a chance when I was barely even old enough to drink. I learned so much, it’s amazing. Japan shaped me into a stronger person.

4. What’s your strangest fan encounter?

Nothing tops the strange messages. However, I do remember back in my mask days I was at a convenience store and a fan approached me and said, “Shouldn’t you be wrestling?” I thought I did a good job hiding my identity. I guess not!

5. What’s on your bucket list?

I want to travel around the world, learn and grow as much as possible. Right now my main goal is to become WOH World Champion. I’ll do whatever it takes!

6. What’s a subject you’d like to know more about?

Jiu Jitsu. I’ve been training consistently at it for the past few months. I love the hard-working people and the discipline that goes into it. It’s a sport where you only get ahead through hard work. No shortcuts. You’ll definitely see me competing in it soon.

7. Do you have any hidden talents?

Karaoke. I’m pretty good at that and have a great “singing voice.” Just ask my friends!

8. Can you put into words how it felt to wrestle before a sellout crowd at Madison Square Garden and what it meant to you?

Honestly, it still doesn’t seem real. I’ve grown up in ROH and I’ve seen the company progress throughout the years. I’m proud of everyone and beyond grateful, as I’ll remember that moment forever. It was so special seeing the diehard ROH fans in the crowd, and having them cheer for us the whole time was amazing. They deserve to see ROH at MSG.Can’t thank you fans enough for making this all possible for us.

9. At one time you and Mandy Leon were friends and training partners. Why do you think she turned her back on you and the fans to join forces with Angelina Love and Velvet Sky?

I’m not a mind reader. However, I know she’s been upset with ROH after her loss to Kelly during the WOH Championship tournament. Kelly tapped and the referee didn’t see it. Things happen. Move on like an adult and go after it again. To me, that’s no excuse to start up a faction with two other bitches and betray those who were there for you since the beginning. I’m disgusted with her attitude and how she’s changed. WOH was not built on this BS. She needs to get her ass kicked!

10. You and Kelly Klein are facing The Allure at the Best in the World pay-per-view on June 28. If The Allure are reading this, what message do you have for them?

I know they’ll be reading this. I’d rather send all three bitches a message with my hands. Some people are real good at talking trash online; others can actually back it up. See you in Baltimore!
