Jim Ross Says He Would "Love To See Paige Back In The WWE"

Jim Ross says the best place for Paige is WWE.

In the last year, Paige has had a tumultuous period in her wrestling career. She was suspended after wellness violations, injured her neck for which she received surgery, and has had her relationship with Alberto El Patron become the subject of headlines consistently. Jim Ross wrote in his blog he would love to see Paige back in a WWE ring.

"I've got no dog in the hunt on this matter, but since many have asked me about this I'll simply say that I'd love to see Paige back in the WWE competing with the talented women's roster that's in place. Paige has incredible skills and I only hope that this potential opportunity to resume her career in WWE when she's healthy is taken seriously by all involved," wrote Ross.

Recently, Ross has done commentary for the Mae Young Classic a tournament which brought dozens of new faces to WWE's women's division.  Ross said WWE is the best place for a female wrestler right now.

"There is nowhere else in the world for women wrestlers to do better financially than in WWE. Plus there is no better time to be a women's wrestler than now in WWE," wrote Ross.

There have been reports that Paige is on the way back to WWE. However since those reports, Paige and Alberto El Patron were involved in an incident at Orlando International Airport which caused Alberto El Patron to become the subject of a domestic violence investigation. He was cleared, but the Orlando police recommended Paige be charged with battery. The incident affected Alberto El Patron's career. No further information has been made public about Paige's return to WWE.

In the rest of his blog, Ross wrote about Jon Jones calling out Brock Lensar at UFC 214. Ross has previously wrote the fight would be a pay-per-view blockbuster. He also discussed Roddy Pipper and the second anniversary of the Hall of Famer's passing.
