John Cena returned to WWE at Money in the Bank, surprising fans and potentially setting up a match with Roman Reigns, if Roman Reigns will eventually accept his challenge.
Another Hollywood star often linked to Roman Reigns is The Rock. Reigns has often discussed a potential WrestleMania match against The Rock in recent interviews. WWE is reportedly "hopeful" for The Rock to be at Survivor Series and has "discussed the idea" of a tag team match featuring Roman Reigns and The Usos at WrestleMania 38, but as of now, nothing is official.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Cena weighed in on The Rock potentially returning to WWE.
"For him to be gracious enough to return to WWE, it's own global entertainment phenomenon, it's great for WWE and it's great for The Rock. As a fan of WWE, I hope he returns," Cena said.
The Rock has been mum on his WWE future, recently saying there is nothing to tease regarding a potential return.
While The Rock promotes "Jungle Cruise," Cena is back in the WWE mix, working a full schedule through the summer and into September.
