Jon Moxley vs. Josh Barnett Set For GCW Bloodsport During WrestleMania Week

The third time will hopefully be the charm for Jon Moxley and Josh Barnett.

Game Changer Wrestling announced Josh Barnett and Jon Moxley will square off at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 6 on April 8 in Tampa. The event will be part of GCW The Collective Remix during WrestleMania week.

Moxley and Barnett were set to battle at Bloodsport 2 in September 2019, but Moxley came down with an MRSA staph infection, which kept him off the event. The bout was rescheduled for Bloodsport 3 in April 2020 as part of the Collective, but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moxley finally made his Bloodsport debut at the rescheduled Bloodsport 3, defeating Chris Dickinson in the main event. He was victorious at Bloodsport 5, defeating Davey Boy Smith Jr. (full results here). This will mark Barnett's return to action at Bloodsport. He last competed at Bloodsport 2 against Dickinson.
