- Santana Garrett returned to NXT television for the first time since the November 6 episode of NXT, but lost to Io Shirai.

- Roderick Strong has issued an NXT North American Championship Open Challenge for next week's episode of NXT.

AEW:

- Jungle Boy did manage to last 10 minutes against Chris Jericho, but after the match went to a 10-minute time limit draw, Jericho demanded five more minutes before ultimately walking away.

- A new No. 1 Contender for the AEW Women's Championship is crowned as Kris Statlander defeated Britt Baker and will now face Riho for the title on January 1, 2020.

- The Dark Order appeared after SCU and The Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championship and inducted two more members into their ranks.

- Awesome Kong, accompanied by Brandi Rhodes and Melanie Cruise, won her first match on Dynamite by quickly beating Miranda Alize.

- The saga of Hangman Page and the messages on his graphic continues.

- Cody and Darby Allin picked up a win over The Butcher and The Blade.

- MJF will be at AEW Dynamite on February 19 and 26.

- A reminder that this is AEW's last live show of 2019 and will return on January 1 in Jacksonville for Dynamite.

- Jericho says he has a special surprise for Jon Moxley for the January 1, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite to try and convince him to join The Inner Circle.
