Kairi Sane Says She's Been Given The Role Of A WWE Promotional Supporter In Japan

Kairi Sane is back in Japan and will continue to support WWE.

After four years with WWE, Sane left the company in July to return home to Japan. Sane won the NXT Women's Champion and Women's Tag Team Championships during her run, becoming one of the most beloved wrestlers on the roster.

Fightful Select reported on July 1 that as of May, there were plans for her to return to Japan and serve as an ambassador for WWE in Japan.

Taking to social media, Kairi commented on her current status with WWE.

"This is Kairi Sane from WWE. I will keep you updated on my future activities. In addition to continuing to be a wrestler, I have been given the role as a new WWE promotional supporter in Japan, and will resume my activities from Japan. Thank you for your continued support."

Sane was written off television when she was attacked by Bayley on WWE Raw. Following her departure, many wrestlers took to social media to send Kairi their best wishes.
