Kayla Braxton wants more.
Kayla Braxton is one of the featured interviewers on WWE television and has recently seen a boost in popularity thanks to her backstage segments with WWE Women's Tag Team Champions The IIconics. But despite her role as an interviewer, Kayla wants more with the company.
Braxton was a recent guest on Lilian Garcia's Chasing Glory podcast and discussed her current role and potential future.
"I want to keep doing more. There are a lot of us backstage interviewers so there are not that many places to put all of us. I really admire and look up to Renee Young. She's been a trailblazer in [WWE], and I love watching her journey. I love that the company trusts her and has so much faith in her. Michael Cole, my boss, is always encouraging and says he has plans for me. I would love to host more original content. I would really like to be more creative in original content. I think WWE is going in that direction."
Braxton mentioned wanting to tell the stories of wrestlers beyond what people see on television. WWE does take fans behind the scenes in Network specials such as WWE 365 and WWE 24.
