Who threw the pie at Kevin Owens in July 2016?
That's the question fans have wanted to know for years. The pie-throwing assailant got Owens, who thought he escaped without incident, following a WWE superstar food fight that left friendships broken, rivalries renewed, food wasted, and a large mess for someone to clean up. Despite the investigative efforts of some of the best detectives in the world, the mystery was never solved.
Until now.
Speaking to AJ on the AJ Awesome Show, Owens revealed the man who threw the pie.
"The only answer I can give people is, in the end, even if it wasn't him who physically did it, the one who ultimately threw the pie at me was Vince McMahon. Because he's the one who decided that pie was going to hit me in the face. He wasn't there physically to do it but he's the one who made it happen," said Owens.
We can all rest easier knowing that this mystery has been solved.
