Former holder of the belt King Cuerno was in the first Gift of the Gods Championship match in 2015 and on Wednesday's episode of Lucha Underground he earned another medallion.

The following is an excerpt from the Fightful Wrestling live coverage by Carlos Toro.

Cuerno brings Guerrero to the ring, but Guerrero goes for an inside cradle pin and Cuerno kicks out. Cuerno has Guerrero in a fireman's carry, but Guerrero blocks the referee’s view. Guerrero then kicks Cuerno, suplexes him and goes for Three Amigos. On the third suplex of Three Amigos, Cuerno blocks it and hits his finisher to win the match.
