Kurt Angle gives his thoughts on Brock Lesnar working with Omos at WrestleMania 39.
Twenty years ago, Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle wrestled at WrestleMania 19 for the WWE Championship. At the time, Kurt Angle was the established star looking to put over the young Brock Lesnar in his first WrestleMania match. In 2023, Lesnar will face the colossal Omos in a match where Lesnar looks to give the giant young star the biggest match of his career.
Kurt Angle, on the latest episode of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, spoke about the plan for Brock Lesnar to work with "The Nigerian Giant." Angle says that he believes it's time for Brock Lesnar to give back to the industry and work with younger talent.
"Well, I think it's a great idea. You have to remember Brock is near the end of his career, and Omos is near the beginning of his career," Angle said. "Brock's always been these main event matches with all the top guys. I think now he's at the point in his career where he has to start giving back and not being at these top-level matches for World Championships but trying to build other talent, and I think it's a great idea."
Kurt Angle knows a thing or two about putting over young Talent at WrestleMania. Angle had his last match at WrestleMania 35 in a loss to Baron Corbin.
In the past, Kurt Angle has stated that he pitched an idea for himself for WrestleMania 39. Fans can learn more about that here.
