Many Names From WWE's Past, Including Trish Stratus And Lita, Compete In The First Ever Women's Royal Rumble Match

There were plenty of surprises in tonight?s women?s Royal Rumble match. While there were a few names from NXT, many of the surprises tonight were from WWE?s past.

Lita was the first big surprise, entering in at number five. She hit all of her moves, including a double moonsault on both Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. Lynch eventually had her number, eliminating her and throwing her to the floor.

Kairi Sane from NXT entered at number 6. She cleared the ring at one point and did land her patented elbow before being eliminated by Dana Brooke after being shoved off the top rope.

Torrie Wilson made her return to WWE at number 9 and managed to stay in for a while before being eliminated by Absolution?s Sonya Deville.

Molly Holly next arrived at number 12 and looked great, even busting out the Molly Go Round. She was eliminated by the next surprise...

Michelle McCool entered at number 14 and cleaned house, eliminating Molly Holly, Lana, Sonya Deville and Liv Morgan. She hung in for a good while until eventually getting eliminated by Natalya.

Vickie Guerrero came in at number 16, screeching her signature catchphrase (excuse me). Once she realized everyone was targeting her, she tried to make peach but was quickly eliminated by the quartet of Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Michelle McCool and Ruby Riott.

Kelly Kelly came in at 19 and Hall of Famer Jacqueline followed at 21. Both faced the wrath of Nia Jax, as she eliminated both of them from the match.

NXT Women?s champion Ember Moon arrived at number 23. Her arm was still heavily bandaged from the attack by Shayna Baszler last night at TakeOver. She faced off against old rival Asuka, who got sent to the apron

Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix arrived at number 24. She faced off against Nia Jax, but had a tough time trying to eliminate her. With the help of Natalya, both of them sent Nia to the outside. The two hugged, but Natalya turned on her and threw her out to the floor.

The Bella Twins, Nikki at 27 and Brie at number 28, were next. The sisters dominated the remainder of the match, including tossing out Sasha Banks. Nikki eventually turned on Brie, sending her to the floor as she focused on eliminating Asuka. She failed, however, as Asuka eliminated her to win the match.

Trish Stratus was the final surprise, entering at number 30. She squared off against the likes of Natalya, Sasha Banks and former rival Mickie James. It was Banks, however, that sent her packing. She went for the Stratusfaction, but as she went to launch herself off the middle rope, Banks countered and threw her over the top rope.
