Mark Cuban says AXS TV has the best wrestling product.
On Saturday, the New Japan Pro Wrestling G1 Special will be airing on AXS TV. The card will be headlined by the IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega defending against Cody Rhodes. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Mark Cuban who is Chairman of AXS TV said being able to air the shows during normal hours in the United States benefits the fans of AXS TV and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
?They are a great way to reward viewers of the weekly show and to increase the fanbase in the United States. The viewership and social engagement for live specials in the U.S. explodes as it expands the audience outside of those who will stay up all night for events from Japan," said Cuban.
In the rest of the interview, Cuban said NJPW is the "best pro wrestling in the world" and the storytelling in NJPW is superior to other promotions.
