Matt Hardy Issuing Fines For AEW Wrestlers Slapping Their Leg On Being The Elite

There will be no leg slapping while laughing in Matt Hardy's locker room.

Monday's episode of Being The Elite opened with Christopher Daniels telling a joke so funny that he had Matt Jackson slapping his leg. That's a big "no-no" from Matt Hardy, who pointed out the "No leg slapping while laughing" sign in the room that is rented from him.

Daniels, as the head of talent relations, was forced to fine Matt $500 for his actions.

Nick said, "That's a weird ass rule to do on the boys.

Hardy fired back, "You young kids are obsessed with slapping your leg. I knew it'd be an easy way to make some cash."

Nick responded, "Maybe that's why [Vincent Kennedy McMahon] did that as well."

Matt Jackson now believes AEW is getting too corporate.

And scene.

The cold open was poking fun at WWE's new "no thigh slapping" rule, which was recently mandated by the company. According to Fightful Select, there is a sign that reads “NO THIGH SLAPPING” at WWE events. The Wrestling Observer reported wrestlers were being fined for using the technique.

Matt Hardy is about to collect a lot of money in the AEW locker room. Too bad it all goes to Hangman Page.
