Matt Taven Says If Ring Of Honor Isn't Going To Give Him The Spotlight, He's Going To Take It

Because he's Matt Taven!!

It has been a great 48 hours for Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan and Vinny Marseglia as the trio retained their ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships on back-to-back nights as they defeated the L.I.J. faction of BUSHI, SANADA & EVIL at 'Best In The World' and at the ROH TV tapings in Fairfax, VA The Kingdom retained once again when they defeated the makeshift trio of Chuckie T, Kenny King and Eli Isom.

Matt Taven has been hell-bent on trying to rid of the "conspiracy" that is against him in and feels that Ring Of Honor "consistently looks past him" when it comes to opportunities. Taven has won every championship in the company besides the World Title and during an interview with UPROXX prior to 'Best In The World' he stated that if Ring Of Honor does not want to give him the shine as ROH World Champion then he will just have to take it.

“That’s all done by me. Ring Of Honor doesn’t know I’m going to do that. If they’re not going to give me the spotlight, I’m going to take the spotlight, by any means. Just give me anything. I know I’m not a member of the Bullet Club even though there was a time and place where anyone could have been a member. It seems like whoever has that logo on their chest seems to get first dibs at what is rightfully mine,” Taven said.

Matt Taven did indeed have his opportunity at the ROH World Championship at the TV tapings in Fairfax, VA. To read up on how Taven faired in that endeavor, click here.
