When the chips are down, you can count on “Iron” Mike Tyson.
Last time Mike Tyson was seen in AEW, he and Chris Jericho were at odds with one another. that was nearly a year ago in May of 2020. Now, Chris Jericho was actually saved by Mike Tyson.
Earlier in the evening, Chris Jericho had declared that the Inner Circle will face Pinnacle inside Blood and Guts on May 5.
However, when Chris Jericho was being interviewed by Alex Marvez, Pinnacle would attack a helpless and alone Chris Jericho as it was revealed that the Inner Circle was locked inside of their dressing room. Eventually, the group broke out and they were able to run off Pinnacle with the help of Mike Tyson.
Tyson beat down Shawn Spears before shaking the hand of Chris Jericho and embracing him. Seemingly burying the hatchet from one year ago.
Tyson will return next week in an enforcer role as Chris Jericho takes on Dax Harwood.
