Mina Shirakawa & Zeuxis Confirmed For CMLL Women’s Grand Prix

Two names confirmed for the Women’s Grand Prix.
Emerging victorious from the 2025 CMLL men’s Grand Prix was Místico. Fresh off the heels of Místico taking the tournament, CMLL is now rolling out participants for the 2025 women’s Grand Prix.
The first two confirmed names are AEW’s Mina Shirakawa and the returning Zeuxis, who’s been sidelined since June after undergoing surgery on her meniscus. Below is CMLL’s press release about the confirmed Grand Prix names, as translated by Fightful’s Luis Pulido:
The road to the Women’s Grand Prix has begun. The World Wrestling Council (CMLL) confirms the participation of Zeuxis and Mina Shirakawa as the first entrants for the international competition, which will take place on Friday, October 24, at Arena Mexico.
After returning to the ring following an injury, Zeuxis was confirmed to represent Mexico. “I’m so happy to represent the Mexican flag. I love competing against foreign opponents, doing different things, and now I have another opportunity to show why Mexican wrestling and the CMLL continue to be the talk of the town,” she said on the CMLL Informa news show.
Meanwhile, Japan’s Mina Shirakawa will join the international team as a representative of All Elite Wrestling.
After the announcement, Zeuxis said she would like to face the Japanese wrestler: “It’s incredible that Mina is coming. I’ve had the opportunity to see her in AEW and at Arena México, but I’ve never been able to face her, so I hope the Grand Prix will be the perfect opportunity to take her on.”
Tickets for the Women’s Grand Prix are now on sale through Ticketmaster, or can be purchased at the Arena México box office.
