Dan Lambert Calls His Time In AEW 'Fun As S--t'

In a new video released on social media, the members of NGD detail their time in the company and their reason for wanting to leave, citing their age and desire to branch out as one of the main reasons.

In the video, Cuartero discusses an injury he suffered while in the ring.

“I got a hit on the mouth. For those who say wrestling is fake, it is not and these are the consequences. I just came back from the dentist and I got anesthesia, but there is no problem. Here, with all the attitude, and to clarify any doubts."

Cuartero then moved on to talking about why they left: "We are in our best moment, we are young, and we want to take advantage of expanding upon new territories and fresh air. For all the people that support us, for all the fans that have wanted to support us in the Arena Mexico, we want to let you know that we want to go to all places. For those keeping up with NGD, expect more surprises because we are eager to expand the faction and that is why we left as a faction.”

Soberano added, “We want people to keep up with our Social Media as we will provide more updates on our schedule, where we will wrestle at, and everything that we will be doing. We will be more active… Before we clarify, we must highlight everything we did during this successful time in CMLL. We won masks, championships, tournaments, cups, and I feel that we did great work during our time in the Council (CMLL). They gave us the opportunity, we gave them the work and we were able to have constant features in Fantastimania (NJPW-CMLL Show). I feel that it is something to talk about and the thing we love.”

Soberano also recently posted a tweet regarding his feelings toward Ultimo Guerrero, who is currently in a position of power in the promotion.

“Ultimo Guerrero is who is ruining CMLL, and I don’t speak for the sake of speaking because I am in this company. I noticed these things and it hurts to see how one person is ruining everything.”

Fightful will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates as they are made available.
