Nia Jax Flaunts Impervious Armbar Defense Despite Tapping Out To Asuka In March

Nia Jax may have a flawed memory.

On Raw, Nia Jax participated in a exhibition match and Ronda Rousey was on commentary. Jax said she was glad Rousey was watching because she was going to demonstrate her armbar defense.

"Let me start by having my opponent here demonstrate that thingy that you do. What was that thingy? The armbar! ," said Jax.

Jax would pick up her opponent with one arm and slam her in order to break the hold.

"The armbar, it doesn't really mean much to me. That's if you can actually apply it on me," said Jax.

What Jax did not mention was that on the March 5th episode of Raw, she tapped out to Asuka's armbar in a singles match. In the month after that match and leading into Rousey's debut at WrestleMania 34, there were reports Asuka was asked not to use the armbar because of Rousey.

Rousey and Jax will be wrestling at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view for the Raw Women's Championship. Asuka is on the same card in a Smackdown Women's Championship match against Carmella.

Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for Money in the Bank.
