Nikki A.S.H. Attacks Rhea Ripley Because 'Almost Superheroes Don't Need Any Friends'

Nikki A.S.H. appears to be developing a supervillain arc faster than a resurrected Jason Todd.

2021 was a prosperous year for Nikki A.S.H. After embracing her underdog nature to become “almost a superhero,” a quick run as WWE Raw Women's Champion would lead to a tag team with Nikki and Rhea Ripley.

Nikki and Rhea Ripley would capture the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship but after losing the titles to Zelina Vega and Carmella, the former Nikki Cross started heading towards a downward spiral as a result of repeated losses and a seeming disconnect with the self-belief that once took her to the top of WWE Raw.

On Monday night, January 10. 2022, Rhea Ripley let it be known that she wanted some distance from Nikki A.S.H. Nikki appeared to be okay with this separation as long as Rhea Ripley still believed in her but, of course, Nikki just attacked Rhea Ripley with malice, showing shades of the unhinged persona that once existed within her.

In an explanation of her actions, Nikki walked up the ramp and stated clearly, “Almost superheroes don't need friends.”

Nobody tell the Justice League.
