Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash changed the wrestling landscape in 1996 when the wholesome Hogan, and defecting Hall and Nash joined forces in their storyline attempt to take down World Championship Wrestling. The move brought about change and competition the wrestling world had never seen before.
The group's ringleader, Hulk Hogan, tweeted about the anniversary on Friday.
Kevin Nash, who was a WWF and WCW Champion, and later led the NWO Wolfpack, posted a photo on social media commemorating the 21st year.
The nWo last appeared in WWE in 2015.
