- Like Pac, Toni Storm retained her title on Wednesday. She successfully defended the AEW Interim Women's World Championship against Britt Baker, Athena, and Serena Deeb. After the match, Saraya arrived in AEW.

- The second time was the charm for The Acclaimed. In their rematch with Swerve in our Glory, Max Caster and Anthony Bowens beat the duo to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

- FTR subsequently expressed their interest in challenging for the gold, but they were confronted by Austin and Colten Gunn.

- Fabulous and DJ Whoo Kid accompanied the opposing teams to the ring and proceeded to sit at ringside.

- In the main event, with MJF watching closely, Jon Moxley defeated Bryan Danielson to win the AEW World Championship. In doing so, Moxley became AEW's first three-time world champion.

Chris Jericho captured his eighth world championship when he defeated Claudio Castagnoli to win the ROH World Championship.

- Aubrey Edwards made history when she became the first woman to officiate an ROH World Championship match on Wednesday.

- Wheeler Yuta got into a war of words with MJF, who mocked Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, and William Regal. Yuta said that MJF's fiancee would leave him, just like MJF walked out on AEW. MJF dropped broadcaster Tony Schiavone with a cheap shot, and W. Morrissey helped him leave Yuta lying as well.

- Trina appeared on the show and confirmed that she'll be in Diamante's corner for her match against TBS Champion Jade Cargill on AEW Rampage: Grand Slam.

- The ticket-holder whose purchase put Grand Slam over the $1 million mark was gifted commemorative Grand Slam chair.

- Darby Allin lugged a body bag around New York City and stated that he's going to a funeral, presumably his match with the House of Black on Rampage.

- Cardi B took notice of Trina's appearance, and Jade Cargill invited her to come to a show.

- MJF got a big pop from the crowd, and he responded in a tweet by calling his fans devil-worshipers.

- CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, commented on Saraya's debut, as did Renee Paquette.

- KiLynn King volunteered to be Saraya's first opponent.
