Brock Lesnar is a freakishly strong man. He is so strong that he, in fact, once made Paul Wight crap his pants after taking an F5.
Brock Lesnar and Paul Wight, formerly known in WWE as The Big Show, wrestled each other quite a lot during Brock Lesnar's first run in WWE.
Having their first major match at the Survivor Series in 2002 live in Madison Square Garden, Brock Lesnar and Paul Wight would wrestle each other in some form or fashion, four more times on pay-per-view, once on a WWE Network special, and one time on SmackDown which would see both men break the ring after a gigantic superplex.
Recently, during an appearance on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast, Paul Wight shared a story about taking an F5 from Brock Lesnar during a South African tour and accidentally pooping his pants. When Brock Lesnar heard about this, he naturally stepped on Wight’s stomach, perhaps trying to get more to come out of the giant.
“He gave me an F5 in South Africa, and I had some bad food, and I hit that mat and it came out. He covers me and is like, 'Did you shit?' 'Yeah.' [Wight imitates Brock laughing]. I'm laying in the ring after the F5 and he steps on my stomach like he's trying to get more to come out. I'm like, 'Get the fuck away from me.' The finish was usually, I pull Paul [Heyman] out of the ring, carrying him over my shoulder, and go to the back. This night, I wasn't doing it. Paul is like, 'You gonna carry me to the back?' 'No, I shit myself.' 'I can't hear you.' 'I SHIT MYSELF!' 'Oh, okay. Are you alright?'”
That comedic moment aside, Paul Wight credits his 2002 rivalry with Brock Lesnar as the story that turned his career around in WWE.
“Brock is the one who turned my career around in WWE. I had a lot of heat and they asked Brock who he wanted to work with and he said, 'I'll work with the giant. Dumbass tells me how good he is.' We had the stretcher match and then we were off and running.”
Now, Paul Wight is signed to AEW and will mostly be at the commentary booth alongside Tony Schiavone. However, he is hoping to turn heel in the promotion and work with Darby Allin. You can learn more about that at this link.
