Pete Dunne saw his fellow bro Matt Riddle take a chance in the Fight Pit and he wants his turn.
After the duo of Tyler Breeze and Fandango, collectively known as Breezango, made their return to NXT on June 3, winning an NXT Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contenders Match, Dunne said he wants to team up with Riddle once more as the BroserWeights to face Breezango in the Fight Pit.

Riddle faced Timothy Thatcher in the Fight Pit, an alternative take to a traditional WWE steel cage, recently on NXT, with Thatcher walking away as the winner. The match came together as Thatcher walked out on Riddle when the two were defending the NXT Tag Team titles against Imperium. Thatcher actually replaced Dunne as Riddle's partner due to Dunne not being able to travel to the United States.
After the loss to Thatcher, Riddle made the jump to SmackDown, where WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle welcomed him with an introduction and vignette on May 29.
