Red Velvet Officially Signs With AEW

Red Velvet is officially All Elite.

Cody Rhodes announced on social media that Red Velvet has signed with AEW.

Stardom Results (4/18/21): Fukigen Death, Giulia, Mayu Iwatani, And More In Action

Velvet made her AEW debut on the June 16, 2020 episode of AEW Dark, teaming with Kenzie Paige in a loss to Brandi Rhodes & Allie. She has been a consistent performer on AEW Dark and Dynamite since that time, even teaming with Cody to face Shaquille O'Neal & Jade Cargill on the March 3 episode of AEW Dynamite.

The announcement and "All Elite" graphic confirms Velvet has been moved from a tier 0 contract ("agreed to appear") to a tier 1 contract (base contract agreement) in AEW.

Velvet recently teamed with Big Swole on AEW Dark: Elevation in victory over Leva Bates & Madi Wrenkowski.
