Report: Brian Kendrick Cleared For A Return To In-Ring Action

"The Man With A Plan" has been given the green light to return.

On the Christmas Day edition of Monday Night RAW former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick squared off with the then-newly introduced Hideo Itami. As the two competitors were setting up the finish for their match, Hideo went for his signature "GTS" finishing maneuver. In the process of hitting the move Kendrick's face connected directly to Itami's knee and it was clear that something had went wrong.

After undergoing an evaluation at a local medical facility it was revealed that Kendrick had suffered a fracture to his orbital bone and nasal bridge. As a result of this Hideo Itami has yet to use the "GTS" in the WWE since that night. Earlier today PWInsider reported that Kendrick has been given the green light to return to in-ring competition following the devastating injury.
