Candice LeRae appears to be heading to WWE.
According to a report from Squared Circle Sirens, LeRae has signed a developmental deal with WWE after passing medical testing. PWInsider originally reported that she was taking her medicals last week.
LeRae recently competed in the Mae Young Classic where she defeated Renee Michelle and Nicole Savoy before being defeated by Shayna Baszler in the semifinals. She has appeared on WWE television since the Mae Young Classic, competing in a battle royal in a recent episode of NXT that Nikki Cross won.
She has also partnered with Joey Ryan in the past as a intergender team called the World's Cutest Tag Team. They are former PWG tag team champions, defeating The Young Bucks to win the titles back in 2014. As a singles competitor, she's competed in promotions like SHIMMER, RISE and Dramatic Dream Team.
LeRae is the wife of Johnny Gargano, the current number one contender to the NXT title.
