Johnny Impact could become Johnny Survivor.
The 37th season of the CBS show Survivor recently ended filming in Fiji and according to Inside Survivor one of the contestants was the Impact Wrestling roster member John Hennigan (also known as Johnny Impact.) It is unclear when filming for the season started but Hennigan has not been wrestling since February and has only appeared at one set of tapings for Impact Wrestling this year.
Survivor has been airing since 2000 and already has plans to complete up to season 40 with Season 38 already filming later this year in the same group of islands the last few seasons have taken place. Former wrestler Ashley Massaro competed on the show in 2007.
Hennigan has been experimenting with television and movies for most of his career. He has worked in stunt coordination and acted in television series and movies. While he has played the role of a fictional wrestlers on non-wrestling television shows he has also played other types of roles.
Season 37 of Survivor is set to air in the fall.
