Report: Jeff Cobb "Starts With" Ring Of Honor Soon; Has Not Signed Yet

Jeff Cobb says he hasn't signed with Ring of Honor.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said Jeff Cobb would be starting with Ring of Honor at the upcoming show in Atlanta on July 21st. Some outlets assumed this meant Cobb had signed a contract with Ring of Honor which seems to not be the case.

On Twitter, Cobb denied being signed to Ring of Honor and also noted he'd love to sign with New Japan Pro Wrestling so it is unclear what direction Cobb's career will be taking.

Cobb has never appeared on a Ring of Honor event but has been working for NJPW this year and those two companies have been working together lately including the Madison Square Garden show planned for 2019.

Cobb currently appears on the Lucha Underground television show as Matanza Cueto.
