An update on the status of Jeff Hardy.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Jeff Hardy is dealing with a lower body injury. Hardy was said to be "limping significantly" at a WWE live event over the weekend. Hardy wrestled on Apr. 20 at a live event in Madison, Wisconsin, teaming with Matt Hardy to defeat The Usos. The following night in Rochester, Minnesota, Jeff was in Matt's corner as Matt took on Jimmy Uso in singles competition. At last night's live event in Sioux City, Iowa, Jeff was not on the show and Matt teamed with R-Truth to take on The Good Brothers.
Matt & Jeff are the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions, having won the belts on the Apr. 9 edition of SmackDown when they defeated The Usos.
It is unknown how severe the injury is to Hardy or how much time he will miss.
The SmackDown brand has been hit hard with injuries recently as Sheamus is currently out of action with a reported concussion, Daniel Bryan is dealing with an undisclosed injury, and Big E suffered a torn meniscus. There is no word on when any of the three will return to television.
