Report: Kairi Sane Leaving WWE Is 'Not Set In Stone'

There has been much discussion regarding the future of Kairi Sane in WWE and the latest report indicates that her leaving is not a sure thing.

Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT reports Sane leaving WWE is "far from set in stone." WWE are reportedly intent on taking care of her and can offer her more money than she could get elsewhere.

Dave Meltzer recently noted in the Wrestling Observer that Sane was expected to return to Japan to be with her husband.

Fightful Select reported on July 1 that as of May, there were plans for her to return to Japan and serve as an ambassador for WWE in Japan, but there were no details on how that might affect her in-ring career.

Sane has been off television since May 26 when she suffered an injury in a match against Nia Jax. She returned on Monday's WWE Raw to assist Asuka against Sasha Banks & Bayley. Sane competed against Banks in singles competition. She will team with Asuka against the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions on next Monday's WWE Raw, which has already been taped.

Fightful will continue to update fans as more is known.
