According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes have left IMPACT Wrestling. Their profiles were removed from the IMPACT website over the weekend and Fightful reached out for clarification on their status.

RVD told Dominic DeAngelo of WrestleZone that he has no current obligations to the company.

Johnson reports that RVD and Forbes left due to their current storylines ending. They were in a feud with Sami Callihan with RVD and Callihan trading victories on September 1 and 22 episodes of IMPACT. RVD had been working with the company on a series of short-term agreements. He originally signed with IMPACT in April 2019 after appearing at United We Stand over WrestleMania 35 weekend.

It's reported that the door is open for both RVD and Forbes to return to the company.

This was RVD's second-stint in TNA/IMPACT. He originally joined the company in March 2010, working there until 2013 when he decided to re-join WWE.
