Report: Shawn Michaels "Targeted" To Come Out Of Retirement For Saudi Arabia Event

The segment between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels on Raw left many wondering if Michaels would be coming out of retirement for one more match.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE has "targeted, if not scheduled" Michaels to return at the Saudi Arabia on Nov. 2. While a singles bout between Michaels and the Undertaker would make sense based on Monday, Meltzer notes that Michaels is not coming out of retirement for a singles match.

WWE attempted to get Michaels to come out of retirement during their first trip to Saudi Arabia in April.

The Heartbreak Kid retired following his WrestleMania 26 loss to the Phenom. On Monday, The Undertaker returned to Raw to confront Michaels over his opinions on the upcoming Super Show-Down bout between Undertaker and Triple H. During the face-to-face, Michaels stated he remained retired out of respect to The Deadman. Taker shot back, believing Michaels hasn't returned to active competition out of fear.

While not official, local advertising places Michaels as the special guest referee for the Super Show-Down match between the two WWE legends. Michaels previously served as the special guest referee match between the two at WrestleMania 28.
