As previously reported, Vince McMahon instructed WWE talent to sever any unauthorized business ties with third-party platforms on October 2. It was also reported that WWE would take control of talent Twitch accounts in four weeks.

Former Presidential candidate Andrew Yang stated he heard from talent that WWE is forcing performers to sign new contracts that would make Twitch streaming a work obligation.

WWE has not commented on the new reports, though on September 5 they released a statement on the matter, saying they were looking to protect the intellectual property (on-screen names of performers) they created.
