WWE Raw Results For 10/1/2018: The Shield Compete In Singles Matches, Ronda Rousey Competes & The Brothers Of Destruction United Against Triple H & HBK

The Undertaker: A Seven-Year-Old Named Bjorn Threatened To Shoot Me In The Face And Called Me A Democrat

- Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring for an interview with Charly Caruso, Ambrose says there is some truth to what Drew McIntyre and company said last week on WWE Raw. Ambrose says that he has thought of leaving The Shield, Ambrose says he could be on Smackdown Live right now instead of cleaning The Shield’s messes. Ambrose hints that he could be sick and tired of The Shield, Ambrose says he stood up for The Shield because they are a brotherhood. Ambrose says The Shield will always ride into battle together, Acting Raw GM Corbin interrupts and he calls Ambrose a whiner. Corbin says he can have one of three matches tonight, versus Seth Rollins for the WWE Intercontinental Title…Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title…or against Braun Strowman. Ambrose says he would rather have a match against Corbin, Corbin says he faces Strowman and it happens right now.

Braun Strowman vs. Dean Ambrose

The match begins with Ambrose nailing Strowman with a drop kick to the meg, Ambrose attacks Strowman with leg kicks until Strowman drops him. Strowman then drops Ambrose with a hard Irish whip into the corner, Strowman stands over Ambrose while twisting away on his head. Strowman also attacks a downed Ambrose with some strikes to the upper body, Strowman follows those up by hitting Ambrose with a knee strike and axe handle smash. Strowman corners Ambrose before landing an avalanche, Strowman again just twists away on the head of Ambrose. Strowman then just slams Ambrose from the chin lock position, Ambrose fights back and Strowman tosses him across the ring. Strowman follows Ambrose across the ring before choking him on the bottom rope, Strowman goes for a choke slam and Ambrose counters with a guillotine choke.

Strowman gets free and Ambrose attacks the knee of Strowman with some strikes, Ambrose corners Strowman while landing a series of strikes as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Strowman twisting away on the head of Ambrose, Ambrose fights back and he nails Strowman with strikes while on the ropes. Ambrose looks for Dirty Deeds and Strowman gets free before getting sent out of the ring, Strowman gets back in the ring and Ambrose nails him with a drop kick. Strowman recovers and he quickly drops a charging Ambrose, Ambrose escapes the power slam to hit Strowman with a Dirty Deeds for a near fall. Strowman rolls out of the ring and Ambrose nails him with a suicide dive, Ambrose follows that up by throwing Strowman into the ring steps. Ambrose chases Strowman into the ring and Strowman lands a power slam from out of nowhere, Ambrose rolls out of the ring and Strowman follows him out there.

Strowman then drops Ambrose with a running shoulder tackle on the arena floor, Strowman then throws Ambrose into the barricade and then into the ring. Strowman then hits Ambrose with a power slam, Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring and he gets in the ring to attack Strowman.

Winner: Braun Strowman, by DQ

After the match, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins attack Braun Strowman before sending him out of the ring. Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler and Acting Raw GM Corbin come out so Corbin can announce Rollins vs. McIntyre later tonight, while Reigns faces Ziggler right now.

- Dean Ambrose is approached by Seth Rollins in the trainers room, Ambrose gets angry because Roman Reigns came out and then he storms off.

- Acting Raw GM Corbin comes out and he says all of The Shields matches tonight are going to be non-title matches, Corbin them says Reigns isn’t allowed to defend the title until WWE Crown Jewel.

Roman Reigns vs. Dolph Ziggler

The match begins with Ziggler attacking a distracted Reigns with a plethora of strikes, Reigns recovers and he drops Ziggler with a single blow. Ziggler rolls to the ring apron before dropping Reigns neck first on the top rope, Ziggler follows that up by landing a drop kick for a near fall. Ziggler slows things down further by holding Reigns in a chin lock, Ziggler releases the hold to hit Reigns with an elbow drop for a near fall. Reigns fights back and Ziggler recovers to send a charging Reigns into the ring post, Reigns falls out of the ring and Ziggler follows him out there. Reigns fights back and Ziggler nails him with a DDT on the arena floor, Reigns gets in the ring and Ziggler lands a fame asser for a near fall as we go to a commercial break.

We return from the break to see Ziggler holding Reigns in a chin lock, Reigns gets free and Ziggler applies the sleeper hold to him. Reigns gets free and he propels Ziggler across the ring, Reigns follows that up by nailing Ziggler with several clotheslines. Reigns traps Ziggler in the corner while landing a series of clothesline smashes, Reigns then hits Ziggler with a boot to the face. Reigns goes for a superman punch and Ziggler counters with a roll up for a near fall, Ziggler rakes Reigns in the eyes before landing a Zig Zag for a near fall. Ziggler goes for a super kick and Reigns lands a superman punch instead for a near fall, Reigns goes for a spear and Ziggler rolls him up for a near fall. Reigns lands a second spear on Ziggler for the three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

- The Bella Twins, Natalya and Ronda Rousey are shown talking backstage. 

Ronda Rousey w/The Bella Twins vs. Ruby Riott w/Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan

The match begins with Rousey taking Riott down with a trio of judo throws, Riott takes a breather before attacking Rousey with a few strikes. Rousey knocks Riott out of the ring and she gets her right back in, Riott knocks Rousey back out of the ring ebfore sending Rousey into the ring post and barricade. Riott gets Rousey in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt, Riott traps Rousey in the ropes while pulling on her head. Riott throws Rousey out of the ring and the Bella Twins confront the rest of the Riott Squad, Riott gets Rousey back in the ring for another near fall on a pin attempt. Riott holds Rousey down while grinding away on her face, Riott again traps Rousey in the ropes while pulling back on her head. Riott also drags Rousey around the ring while fish hooking her, Ruiott also chokes Rousey on the middle rope.

Rousey fights back and Riott quickly drops her for a near fall on a pin attempt, Riott then drops Rousey with an STO for a near fall. Rousey avoids a Riott Kick propel Riott across the ring, Rousey then attacks Riott with a plethora of strikes. Rousey then hits Riott with a gut wrench power bomb, Rousey goes after Logan and Riott rolls her up for a near fall. Rousey then hits Riott with a slam followed by an arm bar to force a tap out.

Winner: Ronda Rousey w/The Bella Twins

Bobby Roode w/Chad Gable vs. Konnor w/Viktor

The match begins with Roode attacking Konnor with some leg kicks, Roode gets a swinging Konnor in the corner before landing a few chops. Roode looks for a Glorious DDT and Konnor fights back to just run over Roode, Konnor traps Roode in the corner while stomping away on him. Konnor drops Roode with a flying back elbow strike for a near fall, Konnor holds Roode down while applying a chin lock. Konnor releases the hold before missing an elbow drop against Roode, Roode then sends a charging Konnor into the corner. Roode then hits a dazed Konnor with a top rope clothesline, Roode corners Konnor again before landing a clothesline. Roode follows that up by nailing Konnor with a blockbuster, Viktor attacks Gable and the distraction allows Konnor to hit Roode with a dominator for the three count.

Winner: Konnor w/Viktor

- A Moment Of Bliss is shown next and Alexa Bliss talks about heroes, Bliss says her hero growing up was Trish Stratus. Bliss says she met Stratus as a child and says Stratus burped in her face before trying to sell an autograph, Bliss also says Stratus destroyed her autograph book as well.

The B-Team (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas) vs. The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder)

The match is joined in progress and we see Dawson hit Axel with a bulldog followed by multiple elbow drops to the knee, Dawson also wrenches away on the arm of Axel. Wilder tags in an he wrenches away on the arm of Axel, Axel tries fighting back and Wilder still wrenches away on his arm. Axel gets free by sending Wilder into the ring post, Dallas and Dawson get tagged in by their respective partners. Dallas quickly cleans house against the opposing team, Dawson ends the momentum by hitting Dallas with a spine buster for a near fall. The Revival go for the Rocket Launcher and Dallas gets his knees up before rolling Wilder up for a three count.

Winners: The B-Team (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas)

After the match, the AOP attack The B-Team before nailing them with a Super Collider.

- Dean Ambrose is shown recovering backstage when Roman Reigns appears, Ambrose says he is fine and Ambrose says he could’ve been the WWE Universal Champion tonight.

- Acting Raw GM Corbin is shown praising the AOP backstage.

- Charly Caruso is in the ring to present a video about the WWE & Susan G. Komen’s battle against breast cancer. Caruso then introduces Dana Warrior, Dr. Candice Grzelak, fundraiser Patty Bulger and breast cancer survivor Jennifer Teeler.

- Dolph Ziggler is shown talking to Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre about the dissension in The Shield, Strowman says he needs a McIntyre win tonight while calling Ziggler a weak link.

Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre

The match begins with McIntyre cornering Rollins before letting him go free, McIntyre corners Rollins again before slapping him in the face. Rollins gets angry and he attacks McIntyre with a plethora of strikes, Rollins uses a drop kick followed by a clothesline to knock McIntyre out of the ring. Rollins follows that up by hitting McIntyre with a suicide dive, Rollins then sends McIntyre into the ring before missing a springboard move. Rollins looks for a kip up in the corner and McIntyre kicks him in the midsection for a near fall, McIntyre applies a modified camel clutch to a downed Rollins. McIntyre transitions to wrenching away on the arm of Rollins, Rollins gets free and he knocks McIntyre out of the ring. Rollins and McIntyre battle on the ring apron until McIntyre knocks Rollins into the ring post, McIntyre then hits Rollins with a side slam on the ring apron as we go to a commercial break.

We return from the break to see McIntyre and Rollins having a striking exchange, Rollins then drops McIntyre with a sling blade. Rollins follows that up by hitting McIntyre with a blockbuster for a near fall, Rollins continuously attacks the back of the neck of McIntyre for another near fall. Rollins goes for a buckle bomb and McIntyre gets free before getting rolled up for a near fall, Rollins then hits McIntyre with a falcon arrow for a near fall. Rollins goes to the top rope and McIntyre crotches him before following him up there, Rollins gets free and he nails McIntyre with a buckle bomb followed by a thrust kick to the face. Dolph Ziggler hits the ring to distract Rollins and McIntyre lands a Claymore Kick for the three count.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

After the match, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre attack Seth Rollins until Roman Reigns comes out to make the save. Braun Strowman comes out to give his squad the two on one advantage, Dean Ambrose comes out and he attacks everybody with an axe handle until Strowman destroys him. Strowman and company continue beating down The Shield.

- Elias is shown with Kevin Owens backstage.

- Elias is in the ring with Kevin Owens and he plays a little diddy on the guitar, Elias says Owens is the only person who can walk with Elias tonight. Elias and Owens both mock the city of Seattle, both Elias and Owens do their best to talk over a very angry crowd. Lio Rush eventually interrupts the festivities to throw a few insults towards Owens and Elias, Rush praises John Cena while telling Owens not to overlook Bobby Lashley tonight.

Kevin Owens w/Elias vs. Bobby Lashley w/Lio Rush

The match begins with Lashley tossing Owens across the ring, Lashley then scores a few takedowns against Owens. Owens recovers and he takes Lashley down with a headlock, Lashley gets free and he sends Owens out of the ring after landing a shoulder tackle. Owens gets back in the ring and Lashley corners him before landing a few strikes, Owens fights back and Lashley still manages to send him into another corner. Owens tries fighting back and Lashley quickly drops him with a power slam, Owens recovers and he sends a charging Lashley into the ring post. Owens then throws Lashley into the ring post again as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Owens sending Lashley into the ring steps. Owens gets Lashley in the ring and he lands a senton for a near fall, Owens holds Lashley down while wrenching away on his arm.

Lashley gets free and he nails a charging Owens with a clothesline, Owens fights back and Lashley drops him with a flat liner. Lashley follows that up by nailing Owens with a spear in the corner, Lashley couldn’t hit Owens with a suplex and he lands a spine buster instead. Elias and Rush do battle on the arena floor, Owens rolls up a distracted Lashley for the three count.

Winner: Kevin Owens w/Elias

After the match, Elias and Kevin Owens attack Bobby Lashley before focusing on Lio Rush.

Bayley w/Finn Balor vs. Alicia Fox w/Jinder Mahal & Sunil Singh

The match begins with Fox backing Bayley into the corner while taunting her, Bayley fights back and Fox drops her neck first on the top rope. Fox then drops Bayley before applying a chin lock, Bayley gets free and she nails Fox with a few strikes. Bayley goes to the middle rope and she hits Fox with a leaping back elbow strike, Fox then hits Bayley with a knee strike and northern lights suplex for a near fall. Fox applies a chin lock to a downed Bayley, Fox then drops Bayley with a hard Irish whip into the corner. Bayley recovers and drops Fox face first on the top turnbuckle, Bayley then hits Fox with a series of clotheslines. Bayley then traps Fox in the ropes while landing a stunner followed by a drop kick, Mahal distracts Bayley and Balor goes after him. Bayley hits Fox with a Bayley To Belly for the three count.

Winner: Bayley w/Finn Balor

- Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring to talk about WWE Super Show-Down, HBK says its good to be home again. HBK talks about all the emotions he has been feeling heading into WWE Super Show-Down, HBK talks about how Triple H and The Undertaker are meeting for the final time. HBK says he was an innocent bystander in the rivalry until ‘Taker made it personal, HBK says he will always pick his best friend Triple H against anybody. HBK also talks about how Kane will be in ‘Takers corner at WWE Super Show-Down, Kane interrupts and makes his way to the ring. Kane appears behind HBK and he eventually attacks him, ‘Taker comes out next and he is in the ring with Kane. Triple H eventually hits the ring to make the save for HBK, a brawl breaks out between all four until Kane and ‘Taker lay HBK and HHH out with choke slams. ‘Taker ends things by hitting HHH with a tombstone pile driver.
