Ring of Honor TV (6/29/2023) Results: Embassy vs LIJ, Claudio Competes, Dark Order vs The Righteous.

Ring of Honor presented the eighteenth episode of their new era on Thursday, June 29, 2023, and it aired on ROH Honor Club. The show was headlined with Claudio Castagnoli facing Chuck Taylor in a Proving Ground Match, Athena also competing in a Proving Ground Match against KC Spinelli & The Embassy defending the ROH Six-Man Tag Titles against Los Ingobernables de Japon.

Elsewhere on the card, The Righteous faced off against The Dark Order, El Desperado faced off against Willie Mack, Diamante had a rematch against Leila Gray, Roppongi Vice competed against House of Torture, and more. Full results are listed below and will be updated as the show happens.

  • Tony Khan & Stokely Hathaway spoke backstage, with Khan telling Hathaway that he would take on bigger responsibilities as the showrunner, asking Hathaway to take care of the events backstage.
  • Preston Vance & Dralistico def. Mark Wheeler & Vikram Prashar.
  • The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) (w/ Stu Grayson) def. Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver) (w/ Stu Grayson).
    • Evil Uno came to the ring with a chair to save Dark Order from the attack from The Righteous, but Stu Grayson stopped him. Grayson demanded Uno to hit him with a chair, but Uno threw the chair to the mat instead.
  • Diamante def. Leila Gray (w/ "Smart" Mark Sterling).
  • Backstage, Claudio Castagnoli was interviewed backstage, saying that people were afraid to face him. Chuck Taylor confronted Castagnoli and challenged him to a title match for tonight. Castagnoli accepted under the condition that it was a Proving Ground Match without a time limit because he wanted to prove that no one could beat him.
  • El Hijo del Vikingo, Komander & Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) def. Gringo Loco, Shane Taylor & The WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake).
  • ROH Television Champion Samoa Joe cut a promo backstage. Joe called out Roderick Strong, saying that Strong had no chance against him. Stokely Hathaway met with Joe backstage, with Hathaway saying that he was the one that runs things. Joe made fun of Stokely before saying that he ran Stoke.
  • Big Bill & Lee Moriarty def. TARIK & Karu.
  • ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship Match: The Embassy (Kaun, Brian Cage & Toa Liona) (c) (w/ Prince Nana) def. Los Ingobernables de Japon (Shingo Takagi, Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI).
  • United Empire (Kyle Fletcher & TJP & Jeff Cobb) cut a promo backstage, with them saying that they are here to run the world in ROH.
  • El Desperado def. Willie Mack.
  • Roppongi Vice (Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero) def. House of Torture (SHO & Yujiro Takahashi).
    • House of Torture attacked Beretta & Romero after the match, but that was until AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy made the save.
  • United Empire (Kyle Fletcher & TJP & Jeff Cobb) def. Action Andretti & Darius Martin & Christopher Daniels.
  • Backstage, Jerry Lynn & The Kingdom (Maria Kanellis-Benett, Mike Benett & Matt Taven) were interviewed by Lexy Nair. The Kingdom tried to sweet-talk Lynn backstage, but everything fell apart when Mike Benett bragged bout retiring Lynn. Lynn responded by making a Trios match between The Kingdom & Maria against The Infantry (Shawn Dean, Carlie Bravo & Trish Adora).
  • ROH Women's Championship - Proving Ground Match: Athena (c) def. KC Spinelli.
  • ROH World Championship - Proving Ground Match: Claudio Castagnoli (c) def. Chuck Taylor.
