WWE SmackDown (2/2/2024).

  • After a video recap of the events of the 2024 Royal Rumble Event, Corey Graves & Wade Barrett welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening segment.
  • United States Champion Logan Paul cut a promo, immediately making fun of the Alabama Crowd. He put over Kevin Owens for the tough match but still lost.
Kevin Owens interrupted and called Paul an "unbearable idiot" before stating that he felt good knocking the hell out of Paul, but said that he aimed to win Paul's title. Paul said that he outsmarted Owens, but Owens responded that he would do anything to win, even including cheating before saying he did not need brass knucks to beat Paul's dumb-ass. This led to Kevin Owens's match against Austin Theory.
  • Kevin Owens def. Austin Theory (w/ Grayson Waller).
  • There was a video package recapping Naomi's return to WWE from the 2024 Women's Royal Tumble.
  • After that video, Naomi met with Shotzi, Bianca Belair & "Michin" Mia Yim, where Naomi announced she signed for Friday Night SmackDown. Tiffany Stratton also appeared and said that she also signed with Friday Night SmackDown before she slapped Yim in the face. Yim confronted Nick Aldis and demanded a match against Stratton for tonight.
  • Nick Aldis was speaking with Bianca Belair before they were interrupted by Logan Paul, who demanded any challenger but Kevin Owens.
  • There was a video package of Elektra Lopez, Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo & Elektra Lopez in a winery to celebrate the full formation of Legado del Fantasma. Escobar said that the faction had to honor the legacy of their families and eradicate Rey Mysterio's LWO. They had a toast.
  • Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship - Qualifier Match: British Strong Style (Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne) def. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson), LWO (Cruz del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) (w/ Zelina Vega) & Legado del Fantasma (Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo) (w/ Elektra Lopez).
  • WWE Women's Champion Iyo Sky spoke backstage with the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Asuka & Kairi Sane, telling them that Bayley was done tonight. They were not aware of it, but it was revealed that Bayley heard the conversation all along and had a disheartened look.
  • There was a video package narrated by Seth Rollins, where he posed a question to Cody Rhodes: what kind of champion did he want to be? A man who challenged Roman Reigns in mind games or the workhorse champion.
  • Bayley (accompanied by Kairi Sane, Asuka & Iyo Sky) came to the ring to announce her decision, with Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis moderating the segment in the ring. Bayley said that she had a lot of ups & downs, but said that Damage CTRL was there for her in the rough times. Bayley said that she could have gone for Rhea Ripley, but sometimes it can be about proving people wrong.
Bayley revealed to Asuka, Kairi & Iyo Sky that she knew Japanese all along and asked them why did they turn their backs on her, which led to Kairi & Asuka attacking Bayley. Iyo Sky demanded the attack, but Bayley picked up a lead pipe from under the ring and fought back against Kairi & Asuka before she almost swung at Sky but they stopped themselves. After Sky rolled out of the ring, Bayley said that she would see Sky at WrestleMania 40.
  • Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs. The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam & Rezar) (w/ Scarlett & Paul Ellering).
  • Nick Aldis was backstage with Bron Breakker, but Adam Pearce advised Breakker to hold off until he heard Pearce's offer on Monday. Aldis & Pearce argued before Jade Cargill entered the room, which prompted Aldis to kick Pearce out of the office immediately.
  • Tiffany Stratton def. "Michin" Mia Yim.
  • The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jimmy Uso, Paul Heyman & Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns) came to the ring for his face-off with Cody Rhodes. Before confronting Rhodes though, Reigns addressed Seth Rollins naming himself "The Workhorse" and then asked the crowd if they wanted Seth Rollins or Tribal Chief Money. Reigns ended by saying that he tried to be the best Number 2 or take a crack at Number One again, which prompted the entry of one Cody Rhodes before the commercial break.
After the commercial break, Sikoa & Uso left the ring. Rhodes said that he had some counseling from his peers and said that Reigns cheated him at WrestleMania 39. Rhodes put over Seth Rollins's words but disagreed that the WWE Championship was the Hollywood title because of the reigns of the likes of Bruno Sammartino. Rhodes made it clear and said that he was coming for the WWE Title and was coming for Roman Reigns, but not at WrestleMania. Rhodes said that one of the people he had counseling from was someone very familiar with him, which was revealed to be none other than Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Johnson & Reigns had an intense staredown to end the broadcast.
