Rey Mysterio has a purpose and he wants to make those around him better.
"The Master Of The 619" Rey Mysterio has been back with WWE full-time for five months now. He has mixed it up with the likes of Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, The Miz, Jeff Hardy and he most recently worked a program with former NXT Champion Andrade. The Lucha Libre style of wrestling is deeply rooted within Rey Mysterio and he still sports it to this day. After nearly 30 years in the wrestling business, Mysterio is focused on passing the torch and building up the next Latino superstar.
He echoed those sentiments when he spoke with 'Aljazeera' and shared that after clashing with Andrade, the fans are expecting more great matches and he is hoping to deliver.
"I want to leave something behind. A lot of fans will still be talking about Rey Mysterio after I am gone. But my purpose isn't just to leave memories behind," he said. "My purpose is to help those up-and-coming Latino superstars that are bringing in this lucha libre style, and help them revolutionize the sport." Rey expressed. "After going head-to-head with Andrade, the fans are expecting more great matches, and that's what we're hoping to do," he said.
