Rey Pegasus Wins the CMLL Mexican National Middleweight Title
Rey Pegasus managed to pick up the win against Guerrero Maya Jr. to win the National Middleweight Title on CMLL Noche de Campeones.
This year’s edition of Noche de Campeones featured Guerrero Maya Jr. defending his CMLL Mexican National Middleweight Title against Up-and-comer Rey Pegasus.
Maya showcased his stellar technical ability, but Pegasus kept fighting back with his speed & agility. At the end of the dynamic match, Rey Pegasus hit a Slingshot Moonsault on Maya to pick up the win and win the title.
Guerrero Maya Jr. held the championship for 1211 days. Only El Santo held the title longer, with El Enmascarado de Plata having a 1453-day title reign and a 2400-day reign.
