Robert Stone Says Conor McGregor Would Be Perfect For His Brand

Robert Stone (Real Name: Robert Strauss) is making waves at WWE NXT, as his first client in Chelsea Green recently defeated Shotzi Blackheart to qualify for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender Ladder Match at WWE NXT Takeover: Tampa.

Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor has hinted at transition to pro wrestling in the past and Stone feels that he’d make a great addition to the Robert Stone Brand.

TKO (WWE and UFC) Reports Revenue Of $629.7 Million, Net Loss Of $249.5 Million For Q1 2024

"Conor McGregor was meant to be part of sports entertainment. I think everyone kinda already knows that. It's just a waiting game. His entrance, the way he talks, the way he walks, the way he fights. This guy would be perfect for the Robert Strauss brand. there's a lot of money for him to make in this,” Stone said to TMZ Sports.

McGregor recently returned to MMA action at UFC 246, defeating Donald Cerrone in the main event by first round TKO.

Stone isn't just focused on McGregor, because Stone says he can help those in sports entertainment become mega-stars as well.

"If you really think about it, there's John Cena, there's [Dave] Bautista, there's The Rock. These guys are so big right now in movies and commercials and talk shows," Stone says. “I think more sports entertainers can be doing those things they just don't know that they could be and I'm going to help them get those opportunities."

Other former UFC fighters such as Ronda Rousey, Dan Severn, Ken Shamrock, Cain Velasquez and more have made a successful transition from professional MMA to professional wrestling, but none of them did it with the help of the Robert Stone Brand.
