Ronda Rousey and Sasha Banks Argue Over The Meaning Of The Four Horsewomen

Who are the real Four Horsewomen in professional wrestling?

It depends on who you ask. The rivalry between the MMA Four Horsewomen (Ronda Rousey, Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler) and the WWE Four Horsewomen (Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch) goes back to 2017 when Baszler competed in the Mae Young Classic. During the tournament, the MMA Horsewomen were confronted by the WWE Horsewomen, teasing a potential eight-woman tag that was nothing more than a dream considering Rousey had not yet officially debuted in WWE and Duke and Shafir were months away from signing with NXT.

With all eight women under the same umbrella, the teases began to ramp up, hitting a peak in November 2018 during Rousey's feud with Lynch and then Flair. At the Royal Rumble on Jan. 27, Rousey will take on another member of the WWE Horsewomen stable, Sasha Banks. Fans may have noticed Banks flash the four fingers at Rousey during their promo segment on Raw.

The two ladies have taken to social media to continue their argument over what being a Horsewoman is truly about.

Banks and Rousey will get settle their score at WWE Royal Rumble on Jan. 27. when they battle over the Raw Women's Title.
