RUSH: Ring Of Honor Is My Home, I Have Many Goals And Unfinished Business

RUSH hasn't been seen on ROH television during the pandemic tapings, but he will be in the main event on Friday's Final Battle.

RUSH is set to defend the ROH World Title against Brody King of Final Battle, but the World Title isn't the only story going into the match. RUSH's contract with ROH expires at the end of the year and he has not reportedly or officially re-signed.

Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, RUSH was asked what his plans are and if he intends to remain in ROH.

"Ring of Honor is my home," he said. "This is the house of La Facción Ingobernable. I have many goals and unfinished business in Ring of Honor, plus matches in New Japan Pro Wrestling and in Mexico that are also very important to me. I am waiting for this virus to be controlled in 2021, and then people will see the best of Rush and La Facción Ingobernable."

ROH COO Joe Koff told PWInsider on Wednesday that "conversations are ongoing" with RUSH and Dragon Lee, whose contract also expires at the end of the month.

Fightful will have live coverage of ROH Final Battle at 8 p.m. ET.
