Sammy Guevara reflects on ‘feeling’ several table crash spots during his recent AEW World Title match with Darby Allin.
Sammy Guevara is no stranger to major spots in matches, having been through several tables in All Elite Wrestling, as well as taking bumps from the top of ladders on several occasions. On the May 16th edition of AEW Collision, Guevara would take on Darby Allin with the AEW World Championship on the line, but would come up short in the bout, with Allin retaining his championship on that night.
In his latest vlog, Sammy Guevara recapped the bout with Darby Allin, noting that his body was feeling a ‘little beat up’ following several table crashes in the bout, including one from the top of the ladder. Sammy also noted that he was ‘feeling those’ for a couple days.
“We are back in the gym. We took a couple days off because my body was feeling a little beat up for some reason. Yeah, both those table crashes sucked and I was feeling those for a couple days. But we’re feeling better now, so we’re in the gym finishing up a leg workout.”
Prior to the bout last month, Sammy attempted to buy the AEW World Title from Darby Allin. You can read more about that here.
