- This probably won't come as any surprise, but this year's Money in the Bank was the first ever held at WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT. It was also the first where both the men's and women's matches ran concurrently.

- Seth Rollins wrestled for the first time in over a month at Money in the Bank. Rollins only had two singles wins on WWE TV in 2020 going into the match. In his 30 televised one on one matches between WrestleManias, 17 of those went to a DQ or a no contest.

- Jeff Hardy competed at his first PPV since WWE WrestleMania 35.

- Money in the Bank is Tamina's first one-on-one PPV match since Extreme Rules 2014 for the Divas Title.

- Unlike the Big Show at WWE Halloween Havoc 1995, Aleister Black and Rey Mysterio did not win titles the night they were thrown off of the roof.

- Doink, Brother Love, Johnny Ace, Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon all made cameos in the Money in the Bank match.

- Otis and Asuka were both first time Money in the Bank briefcase winners.

- When May 19 rolls around, Bayley will have been Smackdown Women's Champion for all but five days over the past year.

- In the six weeks since WrestleMania, Drew McIntyre now has two successful televised title defenses. He's now 3-0 on WWE PPV this year.

- The longest match of Money in the Bank was the cinematic ladder match. Which went 27:15 in total. This clocks in as the third-longest Money in the Bank Ladder match of all-time.

- The women's portion of the Money in the Bank ladder match was 22:00. This is the second longest in women's history.

- The longest actual wrestling match of the night was Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins, at 19:20. The shortest was Bobby Lashley beating R-Truth in 1:40.

- Money in the Bank and the pre-show had as many matches as the Royal Rumble, which also featured two matches over 54 minutes.

- Asuka became the first person to win a WWE title in a Money in the Bank match.
